Did ya miss me? :D

So where were we?

Oh yeah, is this statement true?:

"We're just cleaning up some things that we think are of the best interest of our customers," Avery added. "We're not pealing off in a different direction."

In sum, the new provisions are as follows:

Take a photo of the vehicle prior to a complete teardown.
Follow environmental guidelines and laws from federal and state governments.
Follow the law regarding licensing and/or certification.

There were no other changes? None? Are you sure? Did you read the document? Then again, why start reading these things now. :D

As always, I don't know nuthin'... :D

I guess there were a few "other changes":

"Avery said the new contract also includes a section on part pricing agreements and parts locating services. That section includes "…changes to match requirements of the enhanced parts-ordering process that is currently being tested in Indiana and California," Avery said. No further details were given, but he did indicate that the company would continue to communicate with the industry, as it has in the past, about any upcoming changes or new programs."

Hmmmm, what does this mean? :D

And, tell us DRP's were there any other "editorial" changes? LMAO

Me? I don't nuthin'....just curious. :D

Law regarding licensing and certification - how quaint!!! A nod and a wink to the inherent conflict. A tip o' the hat to the third party considerations.

Love it. Good stuff.

Good thing licensing in IL requires compliance with the Automotive Collision Repair Act.

Heck maybe our new Governor Pat Quinn will even make somebody enforce it. With that in mind - geez I'd better get my SOP's together with regard to compliance eh? <g>

Everytime I see stuff about this program, I think about one of their adjusters telling me that they all agreed that you would have to be a complete idiot to sign such an agreement and how surprised they were that shops were tripping over each other to do it.
