In his latest rag, Math Wiz Lippy has finally admitted it:

"I hate admit it, but I was dead wrong."

He was referring to the negative impact the Farm's most favored pricing clause would have on the industry. As I recall, he was one of a number of DRP optimists that were expecting great things when this change was annouced. They have all been proven wrong. The sad thing is that it is three years hence, and they are just beginning to realize this. And, as with Math Wiz Lippy, they still do not have a grasp of how dire their predicament is. :D

Of course, I don't know nuthin'... Except, keep paying them dues and listening to fools who know even less. :D

one way or another it really doesn't have much effect on Lippy, he has never owned a shop and damned near destroyed his state as ED of its association. As for his readers, they are still wondering if just one more DRP will give them enough volume to go broke next year instead of this! :)

Mark and I found this particular finding interesting:

"Looking at the responses based upon annual sales volume, pessimism is strongest in shops with less than $1 million in annual sales."

That's because the owners are actually in their shops, running their shops hands-on, each and every working day. ;)

Real world body shop owners/techs, are realists, not pessimists. :D
