"We are investigating whether these Aftermarket Distributors and others engaged in the manipulation of prices by conspiring to fix, raise, maintain and/or stabilize prices of aftermarket lighting products that were sold in the United States since January 1, 2004."

Some of the defendants in this antitrust complaint are proud members of the Quality Parts Coalition. You remember the Quality Parts Coalition, right? This is the group made up of insurers, LKQ, Stevie B among others, that is whining LOUDLY about OEMS trying to monopolize crash part pricing.

Hey, aren’t these defendants also supporters of CAPA. You know that other organization trying to save the Free World from “over priced” repairs? (Ahem, Biggsy and Leader Lee, you guys can thank me later. :D )

Talk about a gang that can’t shoot straight. Too damn funny…. :D

ASA's Bob Redding stated it's up to repairers and ASA to make these parts better since we are being pushed to use them by the insurance companies.

And he's paid WHAT by ASA (via hardworking repairer-members) for making such an ignorant statement?

Advocate, any idea how the meeting between ASA's leadership and Gillis/CAPA went last month? They can't seem to get a press release put together.
