I use this company for my mechanical parts. This morning I noticed a "business calculator" on thier site...of course to promote their business management seminars...BUT I feel some of us need to run the numbers - especially the DRP's and the few technicians turn owners who may not know their numbers...time to decide when to stop the bleeding...

Frankly this day and age, I would not use this or anything else that could accumulate information about me or my business while on line, particularly proprietary or personal data. Use the formula off line if you like but I wouldn't enter my rates into their data...those numbers they came up with, the percentages...where did they come up with those "industry standards"? The Labor Department will have some numbers and that to me, is the only quasi-legitimate information I would use in a general sense to give me an idea of what is happening in the collision industry.

If you enter the data, someone is picking up your address and the data that could be accumulated and mined even though it would not be statistical, for some unknown and inaccurate use.

This does not pass the smell test.
