This is one of the biggest decisions being made in this decade, and we will have to live with the effects, so we should be aware of it…

President Obama isn't considering reinstating the "Censorship" Doctine. Not yet, at least. Can't believe any politician would think this was a good idea. Didn't people die so we would be able to have free speech?

Josef Geobbels, Hitler's propaganda minister said, "If you tell a lie big enough and keep repeating it, people will eventually come to believe it. The lie can be maintained only for such time as the State can shield the people from the political, economic and/or military consequences of the lie. It thus becomes vitally important for the State to use all its powers to repress dissent, for the truth is the mortal enemy of the lie, and thus by extension, the truth is the greatest enemy of the State."
Does any of that ring a bell?

is the 'social' issue that is coming to the forefront. As in Eric Holder's comments quoted today. Taken on the face and from many perspectives his comments are dismaying to me for it's lack of intellect from such a highly touted and experienced individual....seems I have used that word often lately. I guess we expected the change from the start gate that was promised and it is having a very hard time getting outta there .....
